Solanco Youth Soccer Association is currently looking for A President, Secretary, and A Treasurer. Although board elections are completed and the new officers of 2012/2013 have taken office, only one volunteer stepped up to take the office of Vice-President. The current officers have been in these board positions for multiple terms and although there are no term limits, the current volunteers would like to move on and need their positions filled. Remember; we are doing this to promote the sport of soccer to Solanco Area School Students. These positions are not hard to fill. The current officers will be more then willing to assist/train the next volunteer to take their position. The terms for these positions is 2 years. Keep in mind, if you do fill one of these positions, your children play free of registration fees. New "E" License Coach Class
Solanco Youth Soccer is planning a E certificate level coaches course at Smith Middle School in March.
The class is scheduled for Monday 3/5 (6-9 pm), Weds 3/7 (6-9 pm), Fri 3/9 (6-9 pm) and Sat. 3/10 (8:30 -5:30). It is an 18 hour course and an E certificate will be awarded at the end of class. Solanco Youth Soccer will pay for the course if you are one of our coaches or would like to coach. The link is below (hopefully it will work). You must register online (you may select pay by check and we will issue the check). Solanco Youth Soccer Association along with Solanco School District is Hosting an Entry Level Certified Grade 8 Soccer Referee Class Early Spring 2012. Please click here to print the registration form, fill in the bottom portion, seperate the bottom portion and mail it back to the address provided with your registration fees payable to SYSA.
