U9 (2017/2018), U10 (2016), U11 (2015) – 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM — U12 (2014), U13 (2013), U14 (2012) 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM

Day 2: Saturday 4/26/25

U9 (2017/2018), U10 (2016) 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM — U11 (2015), U12 (2014)5:00 PM – 5:45 PM — U13 (2013), U14 (2012) 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM

Any Player U15+ 2011-2008 sign-ups will be added to an interest list for a spring team. Evaluations to be held in November if there is enough interest. No Fall Travel season for any U15+ teams.

Established Spring U15+ teams will have the opportunity for Summer and Fall tournaments, if the team and coach wants to participate. Tournaments are pretty much every holiday weekend.

You must attend at least 1 tryout. Any player that goes to both tryouts, the highest grade will be used between the 2 days.

Teams will be formed to accommodate the most possible players while encouraging success.

 

Sign-up Deadline: April 18th 2025

– Late signups will be accepted.

– At the time of the deadline we will decide if we have enough interest for certain age groups. All players effected by any adjustments will be notified via email.

 

Evaluation Day:

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get signed in and your player on the field.

There will be a table set up, here the player will receive a pinny and proceed to the fields.

Parents are not allowed on the sidelines during evaluations. Please watch from the parking lot.

This event will be ran by SYSA board members. Solanco school coaches will be in charge of the evaluation process. Youth coach’s will be on the fields assisting and running drills and scrimmage.

School coaches will grade performance based on ball skills, offensive and defensive skills, physical abilities and players overall behavior. The best scores will be placed on the team and notified. Parents will then be contacted individually by the coach about placement on the team.

 

Team Notification:

Players that made the team should expect an email within 2 weeks of the tryout dates.

We will give 48 hours for your response to accept or deny the invitation.

After all the team rosters are completed, players that did not make a roster will be notified.

 

Season Information:

League: Central Penn Youth Soccer League (CPYSL)

Cost per season:

U12 and younger = $150

U13 and older = $165

 

Fall Season will include 2 practices a week and an 8-game season.

Spring Season will include 2 practices a week and a 7-game season.

All games will be on either Saturday or Sunday depending on the age group. Schedule is set by CPYSL.

 

Uniforms:

UA Gametime Jerseys (2), Core Shorts (1), Socks (2)

Price per kit – Adult – $165.00

Price per kit – Youth – $152.00

 

Tournaments:

SYSA will provide assistance with 1 end of season tournament. Tournament participation will be decided by the Coach and team.

Additional cost of $30 per player.

 

Off-season:

Summer off-season.

Coaches and teams will be responsible for deciding if they want to participate in summer tournaments. The cost would be covered by parents.

 

Winter off-season.

Coaches and teams will be responsible for deciding if they want to participate in winter programs. The cost would be covered by parents.
